The easy frugal tips for saving your money in using water
1.When you take a shower, don’t use much more water than real need. You can turn on your shower as little as it only makes you clean, not too much. We mostly pay no attention in this matter. If you can do this, you will save one unit of water a month. And if the bill costs $1 per unit, you will save $1 per month and $12 per year.
2. Before doing dishes, you should get rid of all remains from your dishes so that you can wash them easily and quickly. And, water will be used less.
3.When you have to water your plants or flowers, use a dustbin instead of a tube. Because the tube take much more water and cannot go throughout them, but the dustbin can save much more water and serves your work more efficiently and effectively.
4. For drinking water, buy a 10 or 20-litre bottle of it instead of a 2 or 5-litre bottle. Because the former can be refilled, you can save more water. Moreover, it costs much cheaper than the latter.
5. You can use the tapping water to cook instead of drinking water, and it helps save you a lot of drinking water so that you can keep it longer from refilling.
6. If it is possible, don’t make cooking many times a day. Two times a day is proper, but one time is better if can do. You probably cook one time a day, but make it more than usual so that you and your family can eat in the other meals. If so, you will save much more water as well as your time.
7. Wash your clothes and the others’ all together at a time per week. This way you can save both water bill and electric one.
8. Set the goal to reduce the cost of water bill one units per month by only your own use and then try to reach the goal.
9. Tell the other ones in your family to do too by taking you as an example. Just imagine, only you can save one unit a month. If you have the other five persons in your family, each of them can do a unit per person a month as well. That means your family can save six unit a month and 72 units a year. Moreover, if it costs $1 a unit, you will save $6 a month and $72 a year.
10. Tell yourself that will be rewarded if your goal is met. The reward may be a small party at your home with your family.
